The Elders are now starting the process of forming a search committee for a new Pastor. If you are interested in being involved in this please provide a short few paragraphs indicating your interest and also describing how your gifts or involvement would help the team. Please forward your information to info@richview.org by February 19, 2012.

Dash Family Send-Off

Richview Baptist Church, January 15, 2012 at 6:00 pm

Lets join together to reflect on God's faithfulness over the years that the Dash family has been with us, and entrust them to the Lord Jesus as they move into church planting.

What can you do?

PRAY

Consider putting time aside to fast and pray for Darryl, Charlene, Christina and Josiah (Acts 13) A suggested time is from Saturday Jan 14 to Sunday January 15.

PREPARE

Reflect on the following questions:

1. How has the Dash's life and ministry been a testimony to Jesus Christ?
2. What is your prayer for them as they launch into this new ministry? (Ephesians 1:15-19)

There will be opportunity to share your reflections to the Dashes by writing or speaking it to them.

BRING

• Photos. Bring these to the church before January 15 and leave them on the information desk, or send them to Corinna McMurray
• Food. Please bring already-prepared finger foods on the evening of January 15; either sweet or savory
• Gifts. There will be a table for personal cards and gifts for the Dash family if you wish

New Year's Day Family Skating

We are doing it again!!

Come with your friends and family to the Weston Arena on January 1st 2012 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm for our annual New Year's Day Family Skate.

There won't be any hockey game this year.

The Weston Arena is located at 2125 Lawrence Avenue West, York, ON M9N 1H7

Dear Richview Church Family:

It is with mixed feelings that I am writing to tell you that I will be concluding my ministry at Richview on January 15, 2012.

It has been my privilege to serve at Richview these past thirteen and a half years. I am thankful for my time of ministry with you. As I reflect back on the highs and lows that we have been through together, I see the unmistakable nature of the Lord’s gracious love for His people.

For some time now, I’ve had a growing interest in church planting. As I explored this idea with my family we were unified as we saw tangible evidence of God leading us into this endeavour.

I was recently approved by our denomination, the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches, for church planting. I covet your prayers for both myself and my family as I move into this new ministry.

It is my prayer that the Lord will bring an abundant harvest as we each continue to labour for His glory.
