Deuteronomy 6 says, “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

There’s a lot in the Bible about teaching others. This isn’t a command just for pastors and teachers; it applies to all of us. How can we do this? Join us in May and June as we look at how we can not only grow in our knowledge of God, but share this knowledge with others.

The Gospel of Mark is the earliest account of the life of Jesus. Tradition tells us that Mark recorded the eyewitness account of Peter, one of Jesus’ closest friends, because his hearers “were not satisfied with a single hearing.”

In Mark we encounter a Jesus who puzzles and challenges, a Jesus who forces us to confront some of the most important questions we face in life. Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 as we examine The Life and Ministry of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark.

The Ten Commandments are utterly unique. Deuteronomy records:

Then the LORD spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice. He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets. (Deuteronomy 4:12-13)

Theologian John Frame observes, “This is the one occasion in redemptive history in which all the people of God were gathered together in one place to hear the word of God directly from his lips.”

This summer, we will be looking at each of the Ten Commands, and asking what they teach us today. Join us on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
