HYNDS, Eleanor Catherine – Peacefully at the Maple Health Centre on Monday, December 22, 2008, Eleanor Hynds, at the age of 88. Dearly beloved wife of the late Charles (Mac). Loving mother of Joy Gardiner, David (Diane), Paul (Maureen) and Bruce (Janice). Special Grandma of Ian, Lesley (Steve), Carolyn, Stephanie, Catherine, Jeffrey, Melissa, Graham and Bethany. Dear sister of Bernice (George Warner), Alex Cruickshank and the late George and Dick Cruickshank and sister-in-law of Ruth and Helen Cruickshank. Sadly missed by relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston from 10:30 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m., reception to follow on Monday, December 29, 2008. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Yonge Street Mission would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Maple Health Centre for their compassion and loving care.
