The goal of Richview Blesses is "to bless our community because of the Gospel, individually and with the support of the entire church."

Soon we'll be opening an online forum for members of Richview to post their questions, prayer requests, and challenges, as well as God-stories. We're also moving into the preparation phase, in which we make room in our lives to bless others.

This week's challenge: please pray that God would use this emphasis over the coming year so that we would be a blessing to the community around us.

In Genesis 12:2-3, God said to Abram:

I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.

The Beta Course is a "life-changing discipleship course." We are presenting it as a sequel to the Alpha Course from September 12th, 2006. It will be held every first Tuesday of the month in the Theatre Room (Clement Residence) at 10:30 a.m.

The Bible Study continues to be held every Tuesday in the Craft Room (Clement Residence) at 10:30 a.m.

The Hymn Sing is getting popular in our community, both RBC and RR. There's joyful singing every third Sunday of the month in the Theatre Room (Clement Residence) at 7:00 p.m. Join us on October 15, 2006.

JOY FELLOWSHIP. This is our main event held every two months starting Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Activity Room of Richview Baptist Church. The speaker will be Pastor Miles Valley, and the vocalist will be Patricia Russell. The last event of the year will be November 11th. We will feature a great male voice choir. Tune in and you won't miss out!
